Fantasy Football Mock Drafts;
Atleast try to

Don't be that guy who reads about the upcoming FFB year an hour before the draft. You'll end up taking whoever the source tells you to and you'll most certainly lose again. You lazy bottom dwelling turds know who you are; get some self respect and actually read up. It makes no sense that you’re going to spend 15 weeks talking shit and checking your team at lunch, and to only put in 45 minutes on the preparation is moronic. Now, you don't have to be a complete uber fuck nerd like me and do 200 mock drafts and try to make a career out of analyzing a fake collection of large men. But there's definitely a middle ground in there somewhere. Just look at the numbers and use your instincts to predict why and how a player will repeat, improve or decline in their production.
Why is Roy Williams a huge sleeper candidate? Research will tell you he's prime to become elite, so establish what players you feel will have both the opportunity and talent to explode.

Essentially you need to do enough research to gauge the market. Be able to tell where players are valued and which players either way are under or over valued. The main sources like ESPN, CBS and TSN are all valuable since they have the resources and media to support their work. But lesser known sites like TalentedMrRoto and The Football Guys offer even more in depth and aggressive knowledge to help you dominate your friends. Here are links to the mock drafts on the net, they take 30 or so minutes and they can give you an appreciation of where players may fall in your real league. More importantly being in different positions in the mocks helps you know what to do when you're in that actual spot in the real deal drafts come late August and early September. Alright then my fantasy nerds, practice makes better, and checking my site can make you perfect.

The Sporting News Mock Drafts; they have a simple drafting room. Very similar to the yahoo draft rooms in your real league. The rankings suck so be aware of that, practice by re-ranking the players or creating a queue for your top players. They run mocks all day and you can actually learn some things in the rooms, like player reports and some local info from other nerds all over the country. Practice drafting from different spots; the top three are easy, but the 4-6 spots are tougher, and you may need to know how to handle that in a real fantasy draft. They email your own roster only, letting you review how you did.
ESPN Mock drafts; The rankings are somehow even worse than TSN. They have Reggie Bush ranked in the top 25 overall. The draft room is way more hi tech and savvy. Almost too hi tech for the purpose. One thing that’s great is they send you an email with the full draft list, not just your own team.
Don't let the cheerleaders know more than you

I dunno.I personally don't use stats to compile my team- but that's probably the smart thing to do. I'm in it for the fun. Anyway, www.bonanzasports.com is pretty cool if you're into stats. But they also let you create as many practice drafts as you want for free.
