"Trying is the first step towards failure".... Homer Simpson

Fantasy Football WR rankings; I’ll post the Tight End/Team Defense rankings this weekend, and finish the NBA soon with forwards and centers. And although some of you have zero interest, I’ll start putting up some baseball info soon. I’m a complete rook to Fantasy Baseball but I’m starting to understand it better. I may have to bring in some ghostwriters like Kanye does to help me out. On some completely other shit, my man Desert Eagle put me on to the new Game freestyles, 300, 360 bars(this is the lyrics only), he has several versions of them, and they are sick, download them illegally at once. Also check out this link; Milonakis is my favorite new rapper, fuck Paul Wall and Jeezy’s rotting gums, this fat young looking white kid is the truth. One great line is “fuck you with a loaf of bread and make you cheat on Atkins”

By popular request a lil more Chucky action;

• Chuck Norris can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.

• Chuck Norris once shot down a German fighter plane with his finger, by yelling, “Bang!”

• A handicapped parking sign does not signify that this spot is for handicapped people. It is actually in fact a warning that the spot belongs to Chuck Norris and that you will be handicapped if you park there.

• When Chuck Norris was denied an Egg McMuffin at McDonald’s because it was 10:35am, he roundhouse kicked the store so hard it became a Wendy’s.

Having depth at WR receiver is nearly as important as RB depth. Most leagues use 3 receiver and 2 running back format. If you lack depth or are hit with injury at RB, you can make up for it with studs at wide out. Last year I lost Duece McAllister and Julius Jones for most or all of the season and was still able to contend because I had strong receivers (even with the loss of Javon). A star reciever can carry your team like a running back does, as long as you get points per reception. I don’t understand leagues that give no points for receptions; they are the basis of value for a receiver. A WR who can pull down 6-7 balls a game and 90+ yards will give you 12-15 points or so every week, with touch downs being gravy. It’s fairly easy to determine the high end receivers. They are the most consistent performers from year to year in the league. Their careers are longer and the stars last longer. Running backs can go down in an instant, tight ends, with the exception of the top 5 or so, are mostly products of their offense (or lack of), and QBs are the second most consistent by default. If you can get your hands on three potential #1 guys at WR, you should dominate your league. I started last season with Ward, Chad and Javon with plans to pig rape my league.

This is Jamal's official team picture, I was looking for his mug shot but this is just as hard. Unlike Hopkins, this cat fell off after doing a bid.

This upcoming fantasy season will be defined by the wide out. More than ever before you will see them drafted in the first and second rounds. They are simply more stable than any other position. Running back is still the top position to target, since they get such guaranteed touches and only one back per team is worth fantasy consideration. But this season there are less true elite backs available. Taken off the elite list after years of being sure fire first/second picks are; Jamal “Tony Yayo” Lewis (why do athletes suck after prison (pun)? I would think after all those push ups, shower rapes and circle jerks that they’d be super diesel and raring to play, but guys like Jamal and Mike Tyson both fell off after pre-prison domination.), Ahman Green, Curtis Martin, Corey Dillon to an extent and even Fred Taylor, who is now virtually undraftable, all of these players are now second tier backs. There are still several high level backs to draft after the first 6 or so elite ones are gone, but none that are the trusted monsters that you build your roster around. There are many reasons for this problem, the most prominent being the employment of committee backfields, they are now a common trend thanks to googly eyed Shanahan. With less safety at RB wide outs will now be drafted much higher. I was asking my friend today who he would select if he had the 4th or 5th pick, with the obvious top three gone (LT, LJ, Shaun) the first name we both agreed on was TO. As much of a human cancer/closet transvestite/never seen him with a woman bitch he is, Terrell is still the most elite of performers at his position. He will get you 15 TDs and 1500 yards, while the next best running backs you’ll consider are Portis and Rudi Johnson. Both are solid but will never give you the week in week out numbers of TO and other elite receivers. That being said, I still plan to draft backs early and often but I won’t hesitate to pick up top receivers early if I feel they are a good value. For example, if you pass on Caddy Williams in the third to pick up Reggie Wayne and then simply draft Ronnie Brown with your next pick, you’re team will be better for it. In any case here are the top 5 wide outs in fantasy followed by a list of the next best at the position.

1. TO; It’s painful but true. He is #1, and it’s not really close. This man is an incredible weapon on the field. He is however very evil; every time he catches a touch down an angel gets raped. He will put up sick numbers as you know, and he will undoubtedly be on sportscenter every night so you can revel over his production. In all honesty he’s a top 5 overall pick. After the top 3 backs he is the next best option. Who else would you take? Peyton? That seems early when you can get Bledsoe three rounds later and get similar TDs, who is next; Tiki? Nope, Lamont? No dice. Terrell is the best there is and it kills me and all of Eagles nation to admit that.

Right, your not gay, did your boyfriend pick the outfits? (she is smokin by the way)

2. Torry; Many experts rank both Steve Smith and Chad ahead of Big Game. I don’t. I really only considered Steve Smith at this spot. Torry had 102 receptions and 9 TDs last season to Smith’s 103 and 12, oh yeah; Torry missed two games to injury and had three shit head QBs to work with, one of whom, Jaime Martin, installed my cable box last week and asked if he could borrow 5 bucks and some baby powder. Don’t believe the hype, Holt is the truth and can be trusted for 100+ receptions and 10+ TDs. He is a reasonable late first round option if you don’t like the backs that are left. .

It's a shame the league banned the celebrations, Chad's where great
ChadJohnson02

3. Chad Johnson;Chad is an elite talent, with incredible route skills and sure hands. He is the team’s best big play threat. Sure TJ is a great #2, but he is still a second fiddle to CJ. I am a little disappointed in his TD output, and he had 4 games last season that were forgettable. But he plays through injury and has an elite QB to work with. People forget that Chad is only 28 and is in the absolute prime of his career. I would like to see at least 12 TDs out of Chad this year to support this ranking. He is second round material.

4. Steve Smith; He had a monster year with absolutely no other receiver to defuse the coverage. He routinely saw a safety or a nickel back in addition to his cover db, and his yac was still ridiculous. His TD celebrations were funny and slept on. He is essentially a running back with amazing hands. He is the best wr in the league at making the first man miss. Besides TO, there is no one else I trust more to create a big play out of nothing. The only thing that really concerns me is his tendency to disappear; he had a 1 catch game during the fantasy playoffs and 2 & 3 catch games with no TDs, that’s a little scary. Key should to help punish the double teams and help Smith avoid those weak games. He is a second rounder.

5. Larry/Anquan; This is the most talented and explosive tandem in the league. They have clearly overtaken the Colts duo as the most productive bunch. It's unlikely that they can both get over a 100 receptions next season but they can certainly increase their combined 17 TDs to make up for it. Even more impressive than Holt’s reception numbers, Anquan missed three games and still put up 102 catches. That’s ill. Edge will take the pressure off the passing game, and a tight end will be drafted in the first two rounds to dominate the middle lanes. If this team can establish any kind of protection for the QB we may call these cats the Warner Bros pretty soon. Expect receptions in the 90’s and very likely 10 TDs each. This offense could look like a ghetto Colts. Both are second round talents.

No need for a drug test Randy, your immediately suspended
mossmug

Wow, can you believe that you just read a top 5 list with no Randall Moss. That’s silly, but with crack rock Brooks I couldn’t see putting him over these 5. He is clearly still an elite talent. It’s just that he’s now had 2 straight years marred by injury and inconsistent production. For the past two years he has been relegated to being a redzone weapon first and a deep threat second. He is certainly worth a second round look based solely on his past numbers, only if you feel you can acquire some solid sleepers to make up for his potential loser tendencies. His 04 and 05 combined totals are barely better than his 03 performance alone. I place Randy here in limbo, between the top 5 and the rest of the bunch. Buyer be warned, homeboy is a risk and his QB is even more of loser than that lush Collins.

This is an insult to camels everywhere

The rest;

Marvin and Reggie; These guys both have top 5 potential this season. Marvin’s “down years” are still sick. I’ll take a bad 12TD season any day. Both of these guys will produce like #1’s now that Edge is out and they will be relied on in the redzone now. Marvin is a late 2nd round pick and Reggie is a great late 3rd round pick. Are you staring to see what I mean about there being a bunch of safe productive wideouts versus the potential risks of taking the likes of McGahee and Deuce. You need elite RBs to win but don’t underestimate the importance of dank receivers (nick). Three #3’s will not a championship make; you’ll regret it all season.
Santana; Much better than that shit brain rapper from the dip set, Moss had a big year. With the addition of Lloyd and Randle El (what the fuck is that El, just like DeShaun, is it Randle The? I’m so confused by these names) Moss will be free to go deep and put up more TDs. He is a good late 3rd rounder but be careful making him your clear #1, try to surround him with another top receiver to protect your team.
Ward; He is among my favorite players in the league. He’ll get crushed and bounce up with a smile. He’s almost kind of sick in the head. His receptions have dipped significantly in the Ben era, but their TD connection is undeniable. He had 13 TDs in the 16 games they played together last year (incl. playoffs). I see Hines as an early 4th rounder.

capt.sel80104090717.south_korea_super_bowl_mvp_sel801

D Jax; He is always slept on as a top wr, he’s quiet and humble, so that rarely gets noticed. But he can be a very productive player for your squad. He’s good for 90 catches and 8 TDs this year, with the potential for more. If you land him in the 4th you’re getting pretty good value for him.
Chris Chambers; He has great potential, and with Daunte he could hit his stride. He has never had a good QB, so it’s hard to say how good he could be. I would certainly grab him in the 4th as my 2nd receiver.
Javon Walker; He could be a steal no matter where he lands. He is only 26 and in his last full season was a top 5 receiver. His status really depends on where he lands if traded, and if not whether it’s Favre or Rodgers passing to him. Don't be surprised if he lands in Philly, it seems like a long shot given their off season approach so far, but Reid has real interest in him.
Galloway; He was great at times last year, only he actually had a game where Hall from the Falcons held him catch less. I would temper your expectation of him since he did his best work with Griese, even though he was still solid with Simms. I see him as a very solid #2 with #1 potential. The 5th round is a good place to grab him.
Joe Horn; Gotta give him the benefit of the doubt, a really tough season and a horrible QB lead to his worst season. He could very well return to his #1 production with Brees and the new staff. His ego won’t allow any less really. He should slip into the 4th or 5th.
Roy Williams; With a ton of talent, Kitna and Martz as the o-coordinator, Roy is ripe for a breakout. His QB has held him back, now it’s on him to produce. He is gonna be hyped all summer so he’ll likely be a 4th to 5th rounder.
Burress; He has the talent and size to rank ahead of most of the names ahead of him, but his work ethic and ridiculous first name hold him back. I saw him drop several TDs last season and take even more plays off. But with Eli maturing and the team potentially adding a deep threat to stretch the coverage, Burress could become a #1 fantasy wideout, that’s could. Draft him in the 5th round or so.
Andre Johnson; He finally has a competent peer to help him out, Moulds is the perfect complement to free AJ. His skill set is elite; he has shown flashes of dominance but suffered from stacked defenses and a shit o-line that keeps Carr on the ground. With Reggie Bush and Moulds, and a new coaching staff, Andre now has the support he needs to flourish. He should be a 5th rounder.
Driver; Much like Javon his value depends on the QB situation; he loves Favre and is a great #2 if the old man comes back. Here’s what Donald thinks about it; "Right now, I am hoping Brett comes back," Driver said. "I am trying not to look at Aaron Rodgers being my quarterback right now." I’m sure that makes Rogers feel wanted.
Braylon; He is similar to Andre, a player with ridiculous skills and weak peers. Jurevicius will help but who will be their QB? Kellen is an important factor in his growth, so keep an eye on thay clown shoe's health. Take a run at him in the 7th or so if he’s there.
David Givens; He is now a number one in Nashville and has the potential to put up some nice numbers. He is a #3 fantasy guy with the ability to be better than that. The draft may affect his value so I’ll update him afterwards.

I doubt this is true, but it's awesome

Lower level/Sleepers; in no order; Lee Evans; can he ever produce before December? This cat is the Santa Claus of football. He lacks a solid QB and will not have Moulds to help him anymore, I wouldn’t draft him unless it was a very late pick, but his potential is intriguing. A Bills sleeper; Roscoe Parrish; if given the opportunity to start, he could be a depth addition. Terry Glenn; He is a great pick to be a sleeper again, of course having TO will help, he could put up some really nice numbers, pick him as your 3rd or 4th. Jimmy Smith/Matt Jones/ Wilford; The young guys turned it on late, but it’s too crowded to decide on one, draft them in later rounds. TJ Housh; a solid #3 and a marginal 2, worth a pick in the middle rounds. Branch; He is a #2, but I personally don’t want him on my team unless he drops to me, he’ll produce, but he is alone in that passing offense, which could lead to frequent double coverage. Keenan; A #3 who could produce like a 2, although the loss of Brees could affect him, he’ll be around in the 7th or so. Coles; much like Givens his situation is draft dependent, the Jets will likely move to 2 and pick Leinart, I’ll update him afterwards. Key; He could be better than last year, the Panthers have missed Mushin’s size and he could very well be a redzone threat good for 8-10 TDs. Muhammed; He lost his luster after a sick 04, the QB situation is unsettled and confusing, if Rex is the future why sign Griese to a 5 year deal? Mike Clayton; won’t touch him with a stick till he proves himself again. I have no idea why he was so shitty. He had a shoulder problem but didn’t produce when healthy either. Reggie Brown; depending on who and if they add at WR Brown could be a good #3 or even better, again it depends. D.Mason/Mark Clayton; these two could both be valuable 2/3’s if they get solid QB play, that’s a big if since Billick is an ass clown and won’t address the need. I’ll update and add to this list once the draft is over and again after the June cuts.

Burress..
his work ethic and ridiculous first name hold him back.

what about B. Loyd? you mentioned him briefly but couldn't he be almost as good as santana on that team? He should get a ton of catches with that little speedy bastard flying around downfield
